In Bulgaria, yogurt has been made at home for generations: a pot of warm milk, a spoonful of yesterday's yogurt, a blanket over the top and a night's patience. Pambiotic exists to make that easy anywhere — one sachet, one litre of milk, and the same culture that gave Bulgarian yogurt its name.
Where the cultures come from
The bacterium behind Bulgarian yogurt, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, was first described in 1905 by the Bulgarian doctor Stamen Grigorov. Our cultures are made in Bulgaria by Lactina, a Bulgarian producer of dairy starter cultures, and packed into single 1 g sachets so each one is fresh when you open it.
What we care about
- Real cultures, simply. Each sachet is a measured dose for one litre of milk — no guessing, no special kit.
- Made in the EU. Produced in Bulgaria under EU food-safety rules; non-GMO and gluten free.
- Straight answers. If a batch does not set, write to us and we will help you find out why — or replace the box.
